IT LIST: Jewelry

I don't know why but shiny objects have always mesmerized me - and I do feel no look is truly complete without some form of adornment. However, beautiful baubles come in all shapes and sizes (and price points) and I am happy to report that in this case, truly size does not matter. Especially in the work place, where the last thing you want is for your colleagues staring more at your sparkly earrings, and not at the sparkling presentation you have been preparing for weeks.

So that's my take on things basically.
That jewelry worn to work should subtly enhance, not overtake. What do you think?

I go for simple accessories and jewelries. I know diamonds are a girl’s bestfriend but for me who can’t afford it and for fear of it getting stolen, I like sparkly studs that are within my budget. I also want them in medium sizes, not too large and not too small, just right. Thanks for the recommendations, I love all the choices!

I agree with you. Jewelries shouldn’t be too heavy or big just to be able to get the appreciation you need when wearing a dress. Jewelries could accentuate one’s look but should be in minimal way.

  • Lorelei says:

That’s a stunning golden scallop shell shaped earrings! Lovely!

  • MJ Walters says:

Jewels should subtly enhance, not overtake. – That is so true. These baubles should be worn for the purpose of enhancing one’s look, and maybe to start a conversation. But not if there are many of them attached to the body, that would be way too overboard, in my opinion.

Are those wing jewelries a pair of earrings? Oh my, I like it so much! Gotta check it out really fast!

  • Claire says:

I’m not actually a jewelry fan. But I do wear baubles sometimes when I go out on a date with my husband or when there’s an important meeting I need to attend. Usually I wear a pair of earrings and bracelet, that’s the most jewelries I wear.

  • Pauline says:

Wow, look at all those blings! I would love to use or wear accessories and jewelries from time to time, if I could afford them. The only jewelry I got right now is my wedding ring, and a necklace. Gotta save up for future.

I love all these bling suggestions! The only jewelry I posses are my earrings, which I inherited from my grandmother. I’m not really into baubles since I don’t get to go out much.

  • Helga says:

I love shiny glittering objects, too, although I do not own that much of jewelries in my stash. These marvels on your ears are really lovely, Heidi.

  • Gayle says:

I collect jewelries, I blame my mom for this fascination. I’ve always been enthralled by the beauty of jewels, especially diamonds. I like this must-have blings you suggested, too.

  • Jenni Clarence says:

Hmm, I often hear that diamonds are girls’ best friend. Might be true to some, but for me, gold or silver baubles are enough to make me happy. I got a bunch of silver bracelets on my wrist which I often wear and a pair of earrings, I think those are my usual jewelries with value. I’d love to check out these must-haves you suggested too.

Golden jewelries are my weakness. I love collecting shiny objects, too.

  • Margaret says:

My birthstone is emerald, so typically that’s one of my favorite color/blings. But I would also love to have some gold and silver jewels to use on dates 🙂

  • Rachel Kaye says:

I also like jewelries, the shiny gold ones preferably. I think it helps make a woman look more sincere and beautiful.

  • Miss Bradshaw says:

I think you’ve got a really classy and fabulous taste not just in clothes but also in jewelries 🙂
