Valentine Day’s Outfit Ideas for Brunch

Valentines Day Her_Universal v1

This year Valentine’s Day fall on a Sunday which means you may be gazing into your beloved’s eyes over bagels as opposed to Beef Bourguignon. Omelets in lieu of oysters.  Frittata instead of Fricassee.

But this doesn’t mean your outfit can’t be just as alluring as that LBD you save for your special nights out. Daytime attire can be flirtatious if you consider these options:

Red is sexy and passionate.  You don’t want to overdo this at the brunch table, but you can still incorporate the color into your outfit, or even just relegate it to your lipstick. This Tibi Strapless stretch-crepe dress is ladylike and comfortable therefore a good choice for brunch, but the red color keeps it in the provocative range. I'd definitely complete this look with my favorite go-to lipstick from Armani in classic Rouge which by the way was also among Allure's Best of Beauty Award Winner 2014!

It can be fun to play with a pattern such as hearts or lips.  One of the few days where you can pull this off and not look like you’re trying to recreate your childhood days.

Channel Brigitte Bardot with this Nicholas off-shoulder dress, both romantic and classic in its reference.

As always, its all about your attitude. And remember, no matter what you wear or where you are - perfume is always appropriate. Today's occasion definitely calls for Viktor&Rolf's Flowerbomb Rose Explosion Eau De Parfum!

Luckily, this year they're also rolling out a limited edition Valentine's Gift-Set that comes with the perfume, body cream & shower gel. & if this winning trio isn't enough, wait until you hear about their Valentine's Gift-Set for Men as well!
